Prof Charlie Teo AM, Founder
Prof Charlie Teo is the founder of Cure Brain Cancer Foundation. An internationally renowned neurosurgeon and expert in the field of minimally invasive neurosurgery, he is the only Australian neurosurgeon to be Board Certified in both Australia and the U.S. He was made a Member of the Order of Australia in 2011. Charlie lives by the principle that a doctor should always treat his patients as he would a member of his own family.
Ita Buttrose AO OBE
Ita is a journalist, businesswoman, television personality and author. Since 2013, she has been a panelist on the Network Ten morning program Studio 10. Acknowledged for her brilliant and groundbreaking media career, Ita now dedicates her considerable energy and skills to championing medical education and health care. She was named Australian of the Year in 2013.
