Come along to the City of Melville's 1,000 Paper Cranes Community Picnic and Fun Day, with a range of activities for the whole community.
1,000 Paper Cranes is an initiative of the City of Melville and Japanese community to raise awareness of and help the fight against brain cancer in Western Australia.
The project is in association with and in support of several key partners – the Brain Tumour Association of WA, Cure Brain Cancer, Canteen WA and the James Croft Hope Foundation.
Support this project and come along to the 1,000 Paper Cranes Community Picnic and Fun Day on Sunday 19th March. The event will take place between 1pm – 5pm at Piney Lakes Reserve, Murdoch Dve, Winthrop. Entry is free and there will be a full stage program and lots of activities for adults and children. Help create the 1,000 Paper Cranes For Brain Cancer community artwork from all the paper cranes. Delicious food will be available, prepared by brain cancer support community groups. And more!
For more information, visit the 1,000 Paper Cranes Facebook page.
In the meantime, join hundreds of individuals, community groups and schools who are making thousands of Paper Cranes For Brain Cancer. Join in here!
