In early 2025, Melbourne-based Creative Director Linda Radosinska faced something no one prepares for: a diagnosis of acoustic neuroma and a 13-hour brain surgery that changed everything.

What followed wasn’t fear or retreat, but the most prolific creative period of her life.

Linda is a New Zealand–born Slovak artist whose work spans photography, film, writing, dance, and design. After her surgery, she asked herself a question that would redefine the months ahead:

“Is it possible to make this the best thing that has ever happened to me?”

She didn’t force an answer. Instead, she waited…and then, a creative explosion arrived in the form of Neurospicy Art.

Why she created this collection

Linda’s new body of work is a visual celebration of the human brain; not as a medical object, but as the engine of creativity, emotion, memory, intellect, and connection.

She created it:

• To thank the surgical team and medical community who saved her life.
• To honour those who aren’t as lucky.
• To process her own experience and heal.
• To acknowledge, in her words, “the unfathomable grace I was granted.”

Instead of focusing on grim statistics, she chose to celebrate brilliance, resilience and the people working relentlessly to understand — and cure — brain disease.

A tribute to the miracle inside all of us

For Linda, the brain is “easily the coolest and most impressive thing about someone.”

You can’t see it directly, but you see its fingerprints everywhere — in our movement, our voice, our decisions, our art, our relationships, and how we show up in the world.

“We exist within it,” she says, “but also somewhere else outside of it.”

Her art captures that tension: the wonder, the mystery, the fragility, and the sheer power of the organ that defines every moment of human experience.

Giving back

Linda is donating 100% of profits from this collection to help fund brain cancer research and Cure Brain Cancer Foundation are one of the proud beneficiaries.

Through her diagnosis, she discovered a field on the cusp of real breakthroughs — a moment where bold research, world-class scientists and community advocacy are finally converging.
