GBM AGILE Clinical Trial Sites Now Enrolling

GBM AGILE, the groundbreaking clinical trial, is now open for enrollment in Australia.

Patients at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney and Austin Health in Melbourne can now participate, with 4 additional sites in Brisbane, Newcastle, and Adelaide opening soon.

Since June 2019, GBM AGILE has screened over 1700 glioblastoma patients in North America and Europe. This new milestone expansion brings new hope to Australians diagnosed with glioblastoma, the deadliest form of brain cancer.

Thanks to the incredible commitment of Cure Brain Cancer Foundation, led by CEO Lance Kawaguchi, this trial is now within reach for our community. CBCF takes pride in being the sole funder of GBM AGILE infrastructure costs, amounting to a remarkable $8M AUD.

In the coming weeks, CBCF along with our partner Global Coalition of Adaptive Research (GCAR), the sponsor of the GBM AGILE trial, will embark on a national roadshow across several cities featuring key leaders from both organizations.

Below are the dates for our upcoming roadshow stops:

  • November 29, Brisbane, Queensland
  • December 1, Adelaide, South Australia
  • December 5, Melbourne, Victoria
  • December 6, Sydney, New South Wales
  • December 8, Newcastle, New South Wales
