We are pleased to share a recent collaboration between Japan’s Nippon Institute for Research Advancement (NIRA) and Cure Brain Cancer Foundation.

NIRA sought the advice of our CEO, Lance Kawaguchi to feature in a publication on the development of smart cities in Australia and across the globe. Lance shared his expertise from his time in the banking and finance industry to inform the article, which resulted in a donation from NIRA to the Foundation.

“Ultimately, it will be necessary for financial institutions to not only pursue profitability, but also to make a transition in their thinking, from a politically neutral standpoint, towards the fulfillment of their social mission in improving urban sustainability and citizens’ lives.” – Foundation CEO, Lance Kawaguchi.

This innovative collaboration supported the Foundation’s aim to increase brain cancer awareness by connecting our message with NIRA’s global audience.
