2026 Early Career Fellowship
To improve survival rates and quality of life for people affected by brain cancer, we must invest in the next generation of scientific leaders. Progress in this field depends not only on breakthroughs in technology and medicine, but on the people capable of driving those breakthroughs. Cure Brain Cancer Foundation’s Early Career Fellowships are designed to attract, retain, and support the most promising emerging researchers—those with the intellect, curiosity, and commitment needed to tackle one of the most complex and underfunded cancers.
By offering dedicated funding, the Early Career Fellowship will help remove early-career barriers that often force talented scientists to leave the field or shift to better-resourced areas. In doing so, the Early Career Fellowship will strengthen Australia’s brain cancer research landscape. This is essential if we are to accelerate the discovery of innovative solutions that can change the trajectory of this disease.
Ultimately, nurturing talent at this critical stage is not just an investment in individuals, but in the future of brain cancer research itself.
