In 2017, your donations enabled Cure Brain Cancer Foundation to commit $20 million to the Australian Brain Cancer Mission, a $100 million government-backed initiative to double brain cancer survival by 2030.  

 

Hope for Children with DIPG 

In 2017, your donations enabled Cure Brain Cancer Foundation to bring the international BIOMEDE clinical trial to Australia, giving children with DIPG hope. 

 

Developed a Highly Potent Cancer Drug 

In 2014, your donations enabled Cure Brain Cancer Foundation to fund the investigation of a novel drug. This drug is being tested in the global clinical trial called Intellance 2, which has demonstrated an increased 1-year survival rate for patients with glioblastoma. 

 

Drugs that cross the Blood-Brain Barrier  

In 2014, your donations enabled Cure Brain Cancer Foundation to provide $500,000 to the KB004 clinical trial, which proved that this novel drug crosses the blood-brain barrier. 

 

Trial for Australian Kids 

In 2018, your donations enabled Cure Brain Cancer Foundation to provide seed funding for a pilot clinical trial for Australian children with hyper-mutant brain cancer 

 

New Drugs for Glioblastoma

Thanks to our funding, Zero Childhood Cancer is now available nation-wide and is saving children’s lives.

In 2015, your donations enabled Cure Brain Cancer Foundation to provide over $1 million into the development of GBM AGILE, a revolutionary, world-first global adaptive clinical trial brought about by the biggest collaboration in the history of brain cancer research.  

 

Cure Brain Cancer Neuro-Oncology Group 

Your donations have enabled Cure Brain Cancer Foundation to provide over $4 million into the Cure Brain Cancer Neuro-Oncology Group since 2009. The group, based at UNSW, focused on precision medicine for brain cancer.
