Your ability to access treatments, be it financially, geographically or through availability is a big factor in your brain cancer journey. Access looks a bit different depending on whether a treatment is in a clinical trial phase, if it has had FDA approval for brain cancer or if it is FDA approved, but for a different cancer.

 

If you are considering a therapy that is not yet approved by the FDA for brain cancer, your treating team will be able to provide you with the knowledge and tools to access medication on ‘compassionate access grounds, including whether going down this path is right for you.
